Get enough sleep
About seven to eight hours per night is ideal.
Treat your physical body with respect
Watch what you eat and get at least a little bit of exercise everyday.
Spend quality time with others
Talk to a close friend about your thoughts, emotions, successes and failures on a regular basis.
Spend quality time with yourself
Reflect upon your relationships and your place in the world - try not to think about work and give the other parts of you a chance to grow as well.
Learn to laugh out loud
The best cure for stress is laughter. Don't take yourself or your situations too seriously.
Feed your spiritual life
Spirituality is remaining mindful of the place of others in your life. These connections with other people allow you to plug in to their support, energy and spirituality at any time in your life. Many of us focus on these connections when we wake up in the morning, through difficult times in the day and when we give thanks before going to sleep.
Helping others
Find a way to be of service to someone in need in your community.
